A Rainy Day in Florida

It's raining here today, but that's okay.  They need the rain and it gives me a chance to catch up on some things here.  I got a manicure this morning at a nice little shop and got some groceries.  We leave Melbourne Beach in the morning to head further south.  Going to Delray Beach to visit with our friends Erol and Susan.

Yesterday was a fantastic warm, sunny day at the beach.  The beach is beautiful here and is not crowded at all...a few folks here and there, but plenty of room to spread out.  Here's a couple of shots of the beach here:

We've really enjoyed our stay here and would come back in a heartbeat.

Last night we drove a little south of here to Sebastian Inlet where had dinner at a place right on the beach called the Sebastian Beach Inn.  They have live music on the weekends on their huge deck.  Mostly bar type food - burgers, fries and fish - but the food was good and the view was great.

It looks like the rain is going to last another couple of hours, so there's only one thing to do...settle in with a good book and a hot cup of coffee.
